Next month the Hague will be hosting a major event dedicated to entrepreneurship. The 9th Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) will take place in the Dutch city between 3rd and 5th June. On the first day Mayor Pauline Krikke will be hosting an opening reception with limited access in the Atrium of The Hague City Hall. Attending the event is a unique opportunity for business-professionals from the Netherlands to meet likeminded individuals and be inspired by success stories from their fields.
The entrepreneurship summit is a world-renowned event, initiated by the Government of the United States of America alongside a different country each year. It represents a great opportunity for 200 Dutch entrepreneurs to get in touch with peers from over 120 countries, international companies and investors, to do business while looking for common solutions to global challenges.
Inaugurated by H.M. Queen Máxima – a member of the Netherlands Committee for Entrepreneurship and the United Nations’ Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development, the event will be attended by Prime Minister Mark Rutte and the U.S. Secretary of State Michael Pompeo as well.
The Summit will take place at the World Forum and is expected to gather more than 2,000 leading industry representatives willing to scale up and improve the world we live in. Find out more about the guests and GES2019 from the City of Hague's website.
