Arcadis and Techstars team are joining forces to shape the cities of the future
Global design and consultancy firm, Arcadis, and Techstars, the worldwide network that helps entrepreneurs succeed, are joining forces to shape the cities of the future. They have agreed a global partnership aimed at identifying and developing innovative start-ups to transform the natural and built environment. The Arcadis City of 2030 Accelerator, powered by Techstars, will open for applications in July and 10 selected companies will be announced in January 2019. The programme will focus on digital technologies and innovative solutions.
Arcadis will support the selected companies, providing a team of mentors to help with subject-matter expertise, client connections and industry insights. The agreement between the two companies aims to create a mutually beneficial relationship where start-ups are supported to innovate in line with realising Arcadis’ long-term vision for cities. It will allow Arcadis to bring smart city technologies to its customers via learning from the process. The headquarter of the company is in Amsterdam.
