A concert in a box with only you, a piano and the artist? It is happening now in Brussels. Find out more.
Started on 14 and lasting till 29 March the 2019 Klarafestival is taking place in a variety of concert venues in Brussels, Bruges and Antwerp. After a successful start at Place Flagey, Ixelles, the smallest festival in the world returns with a one-of-a-kind venue: the Klarafestival BOX.
Large enough for only three people with a piano and a performing musician, the unique concert place offers the most close and personal experience with the artist. What is more, on top of the intimacy and the individual performance, the visitors will be surprised as they will only find out who is playing and the type of music they will be listening to at the entrance.
Unlike previous editions, the free Klarafestival BOX is changing location several times. On tour in the city centre and greater Brussels, they will literally bring the concert to you. From 14 March between Place de la Monnaie in central Brussels, to Avenue Louis Bertrand in Schaerbeek after the 19th, and from 25 March at Place Cardinal Mercier in Jette. The location of the concluding concerts was decided by popular online vote, so the Belgian city of Jette was selected. This makes three new venues and artists and concerts daily.
