This festival contributes significantly to the breaking down of boundaries between Germans and migrants

Every September, the Council and Office for Migration and Integration organises an Intercultural Week. The Intercultural Week, which origins dated back in 1976, will be held for the 43rd time this year. This year the event will take place From September 7th until September 16th. This event is an important tool for the better integration of immigrants in the country.

The high point of the series of events in the city’s popular Festival, which is well-known beyond the city boundaries, is the opportunity to celebrate, to talk, to laugh and to learn from each other outside the everyday encounters – this contributes significantly to the breaking down of boundaries between Germans and migrants.
