European Commission - Entrepreneurship has to be taught in schools

European Commission - Entrepreneurship has to be taught in schools

The new EU proposal aims at updating educational systems in the EU

The European Commission proposed on Wednesday its new plans for improving the educational systems throughtout the EU. School education has to be improved by introducing subjects such as entrepreneurship and various programs which will provide pupils with valuable work experience while still at school.

Major concerns and reasons behind this proposal are lack of experience and idea of what working life is about, also the loose connection between educational institutions and businesses throughout the European Union.

Another aspect of education to be improved is digital competency provided by schools to students. In today's technological world, digital literacy is vital, therefore the Euroepan Commission is proposing plans to develop classrooms and teach digital skills.
