Thessaloniki gets ready for its metro launch in November
The underground rapid transit lines have been under construction for almost two decades due to various project delays
They aim at bringing transportation back in order
A French start-up company, Zoov, is about to launch a new e-bike sharing system, expecting to hit the streets of Paris in November. The electric bikes can be used around Paris as means of transportation, having many convenient locations to take or return the bike. The main goal of the company is to put some order to commuting, to respect other participants and avoid the mess of other transportation services.
The stations, from which bikes can be taken, are small, therefore will not pose a problem for pedestrians or other vehicles. The new electric bikes adjust the gears according to the speed and taking or returning one only requires a simple unlock and lock via Bluetooth - the engine of the bike serves as the lock as well. The app that goes with the service shows the price for the usage and duration of the trip in advance, making it more convenient for the user.
