The Dudelange Innovation Hub in Luxembourg will host technological and innovative start-ups from the region.
The Dudelange Innovation Hub is an incubator for innovative technology companies, resulting from the common efforts of the Ministry of the Economy of Luxembourg, Technoport and Luxinnovation in Dudelange.
A spacious building in the Dudelange city will be entirely renovated and dedicated to young start-ups working in the fields of innovations and technologies. The project amounts to about 175 000 euro, 80% of which provided by the State. The enterprises are allowed to reside for up to 5 years in the innovative hub, where they can exchange and generate new ideas, benefitting from a creative environment and other companies facing the same challenges. The municipal authorities are also engaged with advertising and assuring media visibility of the participating enterprises. The space is open to two types of companies, upon symbolic rental payment: companies established less than or more than 2 years ago.
The Innovation Hub is intended to serve as a pilot project, before the new Neischmelz district is established, the purpose of which is to develop a pool of start-ups whose activities focus, among other things, on eco-technologies.
