The Conference will take place from 19-21 September
The CIVITAS Forum Conference 2018 will take place from 19-21 September in Umea, Sweden. The 16th edition of Europe's premier sustainable mobility event will bring together the CIVITAS community from across the continent and beyond. Over 3 days, hundreds of policymakers, city representatives, academics, and practitioners will gather to debate pressing topics surrounding sustainable urban mobility and witness the pioneering solutions bringing cleaner, better transport to Europe.
The theme for this year's Forum is "Mobility for U and Me". Recognition is growing of transport’s social dimension and that transport systems need to be environmentally friendly, accessible to all, and the services they offer adaptable and effective enough to meet users’ diverse needs. With 2018 also declared the “Year of Multimodality” by Commissioner Bulc, the theme for this year's Forum is highly appropriate. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in interactive workshops and sessions on the most urgent issues in mobility and mingle with the most creative mobility minds in Europe.
