Keukenhof is situated in the South Holland province in the town of Lisse, which is just south of Haarlem and Amsterdam. This popular attraction features more than 7 million flower bulbs, which are planted in the garden each year. Throughout Keukenhof, tourists will find a wide range of different gardens and styles. Besides the spacious 32 hectares of flowers you can enjoy the spectacular flower shows, unique art events, as well as water gardens, fountains and ponds. Keukenhof is also fun for children. They will have a blast with the treasure hunt, petting farm, maze and the playground.
The best of all Dutch flower park Keukenhof will be open from 22 March up to 19 May. Flower Power is Keukenhof’s 2019 theme - a great theme for celebrating the 70th Keukenhof. Don’t miss the world famous Keukenhof Flower Parade, which will be held on 13 April 2019. Every Saturday in April you have the unique change to see the flower fields for above with the helicopter sightseeing tours. If you are not a fan of flying you can also take a boat or ride a bicycle in the surrounding area.
