New poll: Which one of the five investment priorities of the EU’s New Cohesion Policy do you find most important?

New poll: Which one of the five investment priorities of the EU’s New Cohesion Policy do you find most important?

Cohesion policy is the European Union's strategy to promote and support the “overall harmonious development” of its Member States and regions

Cohesion policy is the policy behind the hundreds of thousands of projects all over Europe that receive funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Cohesion Fund. Its investments help to deliver many EU policy objectives and complements EU policies such as those dealing with education, employment, energy, the environment, the single market, research and innovation.

Five main objectives will drive EU investments in 2021-2027: Smarter Europe, through innovation, digitization, economic transformation and support to small and medium-sized businesses; a Greener, carbon free Europe, implementing the Paris Agreement and investing in energy transition, renewables and the fight against climate change; a more Connected Europe, with strategic transport and digital networks; a more Social Europe, delivering on the European Pillar of Social Rights and supporting quality employment, education, skills, social inclusion and equal access to healthcare; and last but not least a Europe closer to citizens, by supporting locally-led development strategies and sustainable urban development across the EU. So tell us which one do you find most important and see as the biggest factor in changing your life.
