The Polish city of Lublin invites you to the 12th edition of CROSS-BORDER COOPERATION CONGRESS LUBLIN 2023 which will be held in October, 9-11 in Lublin.
Cross-Border Cooperation Congress is a meeting place for practitioners of cross-border cooperation from the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries. It is a platform for dialogue between local governments, non-governmental organisations, science, culture and business. Thousands of people from over 40 countries have participated in the previous editions of the Congress.
The organisers invite young people and youth leaders from all over Europe to debate on the needs and desires of youth, about the role of local governments in shaping and promoting it. They also bring attention to the challenges related to Russian unprecedented attack on independent Ukraine.
Owing to the initiative "Youth for the City, City for the Youth – projects and initiatives to engage and act in the local communities", for young people from Poland, Norway, Ukraine and Belarus, there will be a space for honest discussion during panels and workshops, as well as study visits as part of the Congress. Debates on shaping youth policies with youth participation, on strategic goals of working with and for young people, the migration background, the role of youth in intercultural dialogue and in combating discrimination will take place.
Study visits, inter alia, to youth spaces and to Community Centre "Baobab" will enhance the Congress. The Grants' Fair will be thoroughly devoted to grants competition introduction conducted by FRSE (the Foundation for the Development of the Education System) and the International Visegrad Fund.
As every year, the Congress will be accompanied by a diverse programme of cultural events. The registration for the Congress is free of charge.
