For another year in a row, the Bulgarian Municipality of Stara Zagora will play host to a multitude of opportunities for useful and pleasant leisure time during the summer vacation of children and students. The "Summer 2020" program started on 15 June 2020 and includes a variety of free activities and events.
Everyone can find the most interesting activities for themselves. For those wishing to participate, educational programmes in astronomy, talks and trainings, literary classes, schools of painting, applied arts and tambourine, theatrical skills, career guidance exercises, quizzes, fun games and much more are offered.
In the programme, you will also find events organized by the Local Commission for Combating Antisocial Behavior of Minors, the Center for Support of Personal Development, International Youth Center, Prevention and Information Center for Addictions, Center for Support of Personal Development - Astronomical Observatory, Library " Rodina ”- children's department, the Regional History Museum, Geo Milev House Museum, Zahariy Knyazheski Regional Library, as well as many sports clubs from the city.
Classes and events will be carried out according to all anti-epidemic measures, with no more than 20 participants. According to the square footage of the premises and in order to observe the required distance, the number of children participating will be determined.
The programs of the Rodina Library require pre-registration for participation from the week prior and are held with up to 10 children. Prior to the inclusion of the child / young person in classes, a parent must fill out a Declaration of Informed Consent.
Students wishing to participate in sports activities should contact the coach, who is listed as the initiative's contact person. To take part in the training, it is mandatory to wear appropriate clothing, mask and shoes for the respective sport, as well as to arrive at least 5 minutes before the announced start time.
