Organized now for the 27th time, this year’s CAFe Budapest Contemporary Arts Festival will be held between 5 and 21 October. Hungary’s most important festival in contemporary arts, will show more than 200 events. During the festival Budapest’s cultural life comes alive with artists and works of contemporary art ranging from classical and pop music to dance, film and fine arts to children’s programs.
The most exciting and inspiring creators of the Hungarian and international cultural scene present their latest works at the festival not only in the most important theatres, exhibitions spaces and concert halls of the Hungarian capital, but also at unconventional venues, like public spaces and the streets of Budapest. Some of this yeear’s 45 venues include Müpa Budapest, Liszt Academy, BMC, Akvárium Klub, A38 Ship, the Várkert Bazár (Castle Garden Bazaar), Vigadó, and Uránia National Film Theatre.
