The majority of people in Denmark do not pay to read news online

About 7% of Danes paid for content in 2017

The majority of the population in Denmark do not pay to read news online. Only about 7% did pay for content in 2017 - still more than in 2016. This number does not include the people who pay for television licenses. Norway, on the other hand, registered nine in ten people who read digital news and about 26% of them had paid for the content.

One more conclusion was drawn from the report - that most of the people use their mobile phones to access information - 68%.
