The Mayor of Fiano Romano is Ottorino Ferilli. He was born in Rome on 4 November 1975 and has always lived in Fiano Romano.
His political commitment soon matured in the dynamic context of the municipal elections in 2006, when he ran as part of the centre-left DS party of Fiano Romano. Until June 2008, he managed the Department of Public Education, carrying out important projects.
The introduction of pediatric screening in all schools in Fiano Romano was an innovative policy introduced to support families in the campaign for prevention and early diagnosis of diseases. He set up rooms dedicated to studying information technology in schools. These were the result of his awareness that a good school education is an investment in the future of the country.
In those years, he also designed and published a newspaper, a platform that strengthens communication and cultural integration among the children of the municipality's middle schools.
In June 2008 he became Councillor for Urban Planning in the Municipality of Fiano Romano.
In May 2011, Mr Ferilli was elected Mayor of the Municipality of Fiano Romano. In May 2016 he was re-elected to the same position.
