Only days before the European Elections, this action-oriented platform will gather key actors to discuss ways to achieve inclusive growth with real results. On the focus in 2019 is the future of Social Europe, as structured by the European Pillar of Social Rights, the 2030 Agenda and the new Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF). The plenary debate and the workshops will tackle specific issues and lead to conclusions and policy recommendations. Interactive workshops for audience engagement are part of the conference programme. Seven of them in the mornings will look at the different policy areas that are relevant for inclusive growth objectives:
Parallel events will give attendees the opportunity to share experiences and ideas in the afternoon while a ‘speed-dating’ session will stimulate the exchange of best practices on how to make the Pillar of Social Rights a reality. The convention will be opened by Marianne Thyssen, Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility.
