Mariya Gabriel, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, said about the award that
“With this award, we want to highlight how EU-funded research can benefit citizens and society. We will put the spotlight on projects that have impact on the economy, environment or policymaking. I look forward to seeing many excellent examples of how EU-funded research makes a difference to our daily lives.”
This year’s edition of Horizon Impact Award is accepting applications between 13 February and 2 April 2020. Applicants can be all legal entities, individuals or teams having implemented projects that have received funding by FP7 and/or Horizon 2020 programmes which must be completed by the time of application.
