The first hour of every ride is free of charge; fees only start accruing with the second hour of uninterrupted use

Citybike Wien is an innovative and environment-friendly public transport. There are currently 1500 bikes available at over 120 bike stations across Vienna and the number is set to increase. The service is popular with both locals and tourists. The first hour of a ride is always free! And should you start another ride after more than a 15-minute break, you can take advantage of another "free hour".

The Citybike service was launched in 2003, and by now the number of registered users has reached 480 000. Before using the service of Citybike Wien you have to do a registration. The one-time registration fee is 1 Euro and this amount will be credited to the client’s account after the registration is completed.
