Take part in the sixth consecutive Tallinn charity pet procession this Saturday 8 June
The Estonian Animal Protection Agency, along with the district government of Pirita, Tallinn, are host the 6th consecutive charity pet procession. Members of the public are invited to take part in the event which aims to promote animal protection and animal adoption. There are activities planned both for pet owners and for people without animals. The local government is hosting a charity procession, an orienteering competition, a five-kilometer walk as well as a children’s race.
The main goal of the initiative is to promote the care and love for your loved ones – both people and animals and to always be ready to help those in need – again regardless of their species. If you’re participating with your pet, you’ll find the orienteering event quite intriguing, as well as the charity pet procession. If you prefer to go at it alone, don’t miss out on the walk through the beautiful city or the children’s running competition. At the end of the day, prizes will be handed out to participants, issued by sponsors and organisers of the event – Skechers and PetCity. Of course, another main selling point is the possibility of adopting a pet of your own. You’ll be able to freely seek advice on how to get a small new friend settled in your home from local representatives of the appropriate institutions.
