30 000 yellow bins for paper, plastic and metal waste will be placed in all neighborhoods of the Romanian city
The Romanian Municipality of Constanța continues to distribute yellow trash bins for separate waste collection to its residents. Tomorrow, 1 September, people who live on Democrației Street, Măceșului Street, Margaretei Street, Serelor Street and Vârful cu Dor Street will receive new bins.
If one day will not be enough to cover all the initially planned streets, the distribution will continue the next day. One by one, all 30 000 yellow bins for paper, plastic and metal waste will be distributed throughout all the neighbourhoods of Constanța.
The City Hall informs the people of Constanta that, if they are not found at home to receive the bins they can come and pick them up, bringing the ownership deed and identity card, from the headquarters of Polaris M Holding, Spiru Haret Street 2A, from Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 14:00.
For more information, residents can call the Polaris Dispatch Office at 0241 548 600. Photo by Constanța Municipality
Together with the yellow bin, people living in houses will also receive an information leaflet (a guide for selective waste collection) which contains information on the types of waste to be deposited in the bin and how to properly dispose of them. The leaflet also mentions the collection day of the bins.
Constanța City Hall thus replaces the yellow bag that used to be offered until now and encourages all city residents to separate household waste from recyclable waste. The free distribution of the 30 000 bins complements the approximately 900 yellow containers for recyclable waste placed by the local administration on 400 platforms throughout the municipality.
