Citizens are invited to see and experience the various cultural and educational activities offered by the new establishment

After two years of construction, the Children’s House in the Croatian city of Rijeka has finally been completed. In a press release, the Municipality of Rijeka announced that the establishment will open its doors on 26 March.

In addition to this, the Children’s House is inviting citizens to attend free, guided tours from Saturday 27 March to Thursday 1 April. This exhibition will showcase works created by children during workshops at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in 2020.

On the second floor, visitors will be able to view several short, animated films organised by the Art Cinema. Some of these films include Black Wolf, White Wolf by Ivana Guljašević Kuman, Atelier by Bianca Mansani, and Lynx in the City by Nina Bisiarina.

In addition to this, the City Library of Rijeka has also organised a display of 3D printing on the second floor. Taking this further, the third floor of the building will house the Stribor Children’s Department of the Rijeka City Library.

The fourth floor, also known as "The Container", will offer visitors a five-minute scene from the play Puppet Theatre, a Puppet Classroom, a ten-minute puppet show, and a five-minute scene from the Theatre Mania play.
