London with £1.4bn project for regenerating Croydon town centre

The scheme includes 1000 new rented homes, 7000 new jobs, new leisure facilitates and rejuvaned public spaces

Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, gave green light to overhaul Croydon town centre. The redevelopment plan includes more than 500, 000 sq.m. of new shops and restaurants, creation of 7000 jobs, 1000 new homes, and new leisure facilities and rejuvenated public spaces for the local community.

The project will play a key role in the development of the area and will deliver huge economic benefits to residents and businesses in this part of the British capital. It will also attract many new visitors to its renewed leisure facilities and public spaces. This crucial step towards the regeneration of Croydon town centre will turn it into world-class retail and leisure destination.
