Oktoberfest in Munich will open its gates on September 22 in the Schottenhamel tent and it will last until October 7. Like always, there is no fee to enter the festival or the beer-tents. But, because of the popularity of the festival, visitors better make a reservation in advance. Children under the age of 6 must leave the area at 8pm at the latest.
