Take over the streets of the Irish capital, alongside Lord Mayor and thousands of fellow runners
There is just one week left till the very special sport event In the Irish capital. The 2019 Night Run will take place on Sunday the 28th April, starting at 9pm and is with a charity cause: EUR 5 of each ticket go for the Sean Cox Foundation. Regardless of abilities or age, all are welcome to take part in Night Run Dublin 10K 2019. Participants will receive a reflective premium technical race top to guarantee their safety at night, as well as a goodie bag and finisher’s medal. Time limit for each runner is set to an hour and twenty minutes.
Despite the generous amount of time to finish the race, there is, of course, a competitive element to it: sanctioned by Athletics Ireland, the race is chip-timed, which allows to benchmark performance on previous years, and or to record their progress. To make things even more exciting, a chip will be contained within each participant’s race bib number and the results will be published online not long after the race ends. Do not fail to take part in the good group warm-up at the start area, which is organized for 20:50pm.
Last year the City Council of Dublin had its own team and there is every likelihood that you will meet Lord Mayor of Dublin Mr Nial Ring, who is a passionate runner.
