Pisa celebra la giornata della nascita del grande scienziato Galileo Galilei con un programma di eventi che coinvolge prestigiose istituzioni cittadine. Le iniziative saranno organizzate in varie parti della Città, come la Cittadella Galileiana, il Museo della Grafica, il Museo degli Strumenti di Fisica e il Museo degli Strumenti per il Calcolo, le Mura di Pisa, il Camposanto Monumentale, gli Arsenali Repubblicani. Un autentico itinerario galileiano nella città che diede i natali a Galileo Galilei nel 1564. Ottima occasione per conoscere aspetti noti e meno noti di Pisa e della sua ricca e articolata offerta scientifica e turistica.
A partire da quest’anno, il Comune di Pisa vuole che il 15 febbraio, negli anni a venire, diventi un appuntamento dedicato al grande scienziato e umanista. Le iniziative di quest’anno, organizzate con le prestigiose istituzioni coinvolte, sono la dimostrazione, una sintesi efficace, di quanto sia possibile realizzare in città intorno alla figura di Galileo Galilei, per poter costruire così una progettualità futura, solida, che in prospettiva preveda il massimo coinvolgimento cittadino.
