Du 1er au 4 novembre 40 films politiques seront projetés à Rennes
Politikos est un festival international du film politique, qui se tiendra à Rennes, France, entre le 1er et le 4ème Novembre 2018 Au couvent des jacobins, au Tambour et à l’Arvor. Son objectif principal : de permettre au large public de découvrir les ouvrages cinématographiques et audiovisuels qui questionnent le pouvoir politique. Un programme comprenant 40 œuvres documentaires, fictions et séries télévisées thématisés autour de l’exercice du pouvoir seront présentés en compétition pendant 4 jours. Les œuvres en compétition pour le prix Politikos sont produits entre janvier 2017 et Octobre 2018, le prix étant décidé par dix étudiants.
Le programme du festival est enrichi par des débats entre des historiens, des académiciens, des politologues, des cinéastes et des journalistes politiques. Parmi les débateurs : le Président de la République François Hollande qui parlera sur la métamorphose du pouvoir sous la Vème République le 1er Novembre. Il se déroulera aussi un «Masterclass Cinéma, télévision et pouvoir », à l’Institute d’Etudes Politiques de Rennes, ainsi qu’une exposition au couvent des jacobins et une librairie politique seront ouvertes.
