The Festival of Manchester will take over Platt Fields Park with tons of different forms of entertainment, activities, sporting competitions, food stalls and tons of other ways to celebrate the city.
The local government is keen on making it clear that this is a festival for the citizens and by the citizens. So it invites local communities, groups and organisations to take part in the whole event and represent the diversity of which Manchester is proud. Citizens are invited to host activities, workshops and in general contribute to the overall feel-good spirit of the event.
