Il miglioramento delle aree verdi è già iniziato
A partire da questo mese di giugno, la capitale italiana, Roma, investirà 12 milioni di euro per migliorare 20 parchi e giardini, ha annunciato il sindaco Virginia Raggi. Il restyling includerà nuove panchine e fontane e una pulizia generale. Il progetto coinvolgerà anche la piantumazione di alberi e l'installazione di nuove strutture sportive e videocamere di sicurezza. Verranno installati nuovi contenitori e segnali in varie lingue.
Il progetto ridisegnerà le zone verdi attorno al Colosseo, al Parco dell'Acqua e del Vino, al Parco Nemorense, al Parco Collina della Pace, al Parco Alessandro Conti, al Parco di Piazza Balsamo Crivelli, al Parco Labaro e al Parco di Salone. Si rinnovano anche i gardini di Villa Borghese, Villa Flora, Villa Doria Pamphilj, Villa Sciarra e Giardino del Monte Oppio. Gli investimenti saranno effettuati intorno alle aree di Viale Washington, Viale Carlo Felice e Viale Fiorello, La Guardia, così come i giardini di Piazza Carlo Forlanini, Largo Mola di Bari, Eroi di Cefalonia e i Giardini dei Servi di Giustizia della Romanina.
Roma è famosa per i suoi numerosi parchi, le enormi aree verdi e con alcune dei giardini più belli del mondo. Oggi, sfortunatamente, alcuni dei parchi e piazze più piccoli della capitale italiana sono in brutte condizioni.
