Take part in the online survey until 7th July 2019
The European Commission is asking you for feedback on the Regional State Aid Framework, which also applies to regional investment aid to broadband networks. The deadline is 7th July 2019. The aim of the initiative is to gather the opinions of stakeholders and Member States on the application of the Guidelines on regional State aid for 2014-2020.
In January this year, the Commission started a comprehensive policy evaluation in the area of State aid. As part of this initiative, the Commission is consulting on the De minimis Regulation and on the Guidelines on Regional State Aid. The results of the consultation will help in shaping the future Regional Aid Guidelines. The feedback is considered to be of paramount importance to the European institutions. The Europen Commission is deeply interested in finding out if the Guidelines were useful when planning broadband deployment and whether any aspects, the general conditions or the specific rules for broadband projects, may have limited their use as part of the broadband deployment.
The online survey includes eight questions and gives the possibility to add comments, observations, information, or suggestions. The survey closes on 7 July.
