Admire the beautiful paintings and sculptures, walk through the expansive park and get a stunning view from the roof terrace

The Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum, one of the most romantic museums of modern art in Europe, is situated 20 kilometers south of Bratislava, the capital of the Slovak Republic. The museum is named after the river that surrounds it, and its sponsor, the Dutch collector and art patron Gerard H. Meulensteen. Danubiana is one of the youngest museums of modern art in Europe. Since 2000 when the museum was opened, dozens of exhibitions of the most prestigious figures of the Slovak, European and global art scene have been organized here.

The museum has become the new symbol of modern Bratislava, one of Bratislava’s architecture landmarks and a must-see place to all art-lovers. Along with the beautiful exhibitions, as a bonus, you can enjoy the interesting park covering an area of 8000 square meters, where 60 sculptures are presented. The museum roof offers a unique view of Bratislava, the Small Carpathians and the majestic Danube River, especially at sunset. To get to the museum, you can use your car, public transport, boat or bike from BikeBratislava.
