Launched by Alain Ducasse, the "Tous au Restaurant" event (whose name means "Everyone to the Restaurant") is an opportunity for everyone to try amazing meals and treats without spending a fortune. For 15 days, restaurants in Paris and the Paris region welcome their customers with a fixed price menu specially prepared for the occasion titled “your guest is our guest”. The concept is simple: 1 menu purchased = 1 menu free.
Michelin-starred restaurants, contemporary bistros run by young chefs and regional cuisines: a total of over 1000 restaurants are involved willing to introduce the public to their cuisine and skills. The aim of the event is to introduce people to the diversity of today's gourmet cuisine and promote the best restaurants. The event starts on the 1st of October, but reservations are available from 25th of September. Over 600 000 people take part in the event.
